Dual exhaust tips exiting the rear and brand-new American Racing Torque Thrust alloy wheels really give this Mustang that muscle car vibe. That is perfectly backed up by the performance this Mustang offers. This is an A Code 289. Which means it was 225 horsepower from the factory and was an upcharge to the lower horsepower C Code 289 which offered 200 horsepower. This 289 has then been taken even further with an Edelbrock Performer intake, Edelbrock AVS2 4-barrel carburetor with electric choke and an HEI setup. She fires up with the bump up the key and is a pleasure to drive. This Mustang has a great muscular exhaust note and plenty of power for around town cruising or stop light to stop light racing. Power front disc brakes provide the stopping power for this Pony, and the steering is tight and responsive. Inside you will find an all new black interior that is ready to show. Comfortable bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl, with seat belts, new gauge cluster and a satin black dash treatment offer a subtle custom touch. A RetroSound AM/FM radio has been installed to use the original radio holes yet provide modern radio quality and sound. The trunk is beautifully finished with correct plaid trunk mat and a spare tire, just in case.
